The High Power DC Link box is designed to provide a centralised point for all primary DC power distribution on small to medium sized vessels. The system is will take feeds from up to three battery banks (two engine and one domestic), provide a way to isolate the batteries from the rest of the system and provide a range high power fused feeds from both permanent and switched side of the isolators.
Input | Type | Description |
---|---|---|
Engine 1 on | Digital | Bring this pin high to connect the engine 1 battery isolator. |
Engine 1 off | Digital | Bring this pin high to disconnect the engine 1 battery isolator. |
Engine 2 on | Digital | Bring this pin high to connect the engine 2 battery isolator. |
Engine 2 off | Digital | Bring this pin high to disconnect the engine 2 battery isolator. |
Domestic on | Digital | Bring this pin high to connect the domestic battery isolator. |
Domestic off | Digital | Bring this pin high to disconnect the domestic battery isolator. |
Dom - Eng 1 | Digital | Hold this pin high to connect the domestic and engine 1 batteries. |
Dom - Eng 2 | Digital | Hold this pin high to connect the domestic and engine 2 batteries. |
Output | Type | Description |
Engine 1 | Digital | This pin will be high whilst the engine 1 isolator is connected. |
Engine 2 | Digital | This pin will be high whilst the engine 2 isolator is connected. |
Domestic | Digital | This pin will be high whilst the domestic isolator is connected. |
Dom - Eng 1 (battery link) | Digital | This pin will be high whilst the domestic and engine 1 batteries are connected. |
Dom - Eng 2 (battery link) | Digital | This pin will be high whilst the domestic and engine 2 batteries are connected. |
Dom - Eng 1 (charge activation) | Digital | This pin will be high if the domestic and engine 1 batteries are connected because charging has been detected. |
Dom - Eng 2 (charge activation) | Digital | This pin will be high if the domestic and engine 2 batteries are connected because charging has been detected. |
Engine 1 Volts | Analogue (10-bit) | The voltage of the engine 1 battery in deci-Volts (e.g. 175 = 17.5 V). |
Engine 2 Volts | Analogue (10-bit) | The voltage of the engine 2 battery in deci-Volts (e.g. 175 = 17.5 V). |
Domestic Volts | Analogue (10-bit) | The voltage of the domestic battery in deci-Volts (e.g. 175 = 17.5 V). |
Domestic Amps | Analogue (16-bit, signed) | The current flow through the domestic battery in deci-Amps. 32768 = 0 A, 32769 = 0.1 A, 32767 = -0.1 A. |
