Frequently Asked Questions

What does low side switching mean?

Most E-plex solid state switching modules (366HMM, 436MMX etc) are high side switching- that is they supply battery voltage to a load when enabled. The 426HSS is low side switching, so the load would be connected to battery voltage, and then connected to negative via the module when enabled.
